  3. Your photograph is a wow! I know that doesn't really say anything so I will say more. The circular design makes me feel like they are frizbees flying in space, like a flying saucer! The sharp angle offers the viewer a unique perspective.

  5. Hello! My name is Mattie. I am a student at the University of South Alabama. I am so glad that you have used your blog to show people a little bit of who you are! I do not know anything about the elements of photography, so I have no idea about this photograph! You are very creative with photography though and I really enjoy this picture. Keep up with photography, and your blog!
    Good luck!,

  8. I teach History and we are learning about WWI right now. In particular, we are discussing the naval battles that took place. This picture reminded me of that...maybe you could call it "'Til We Meet Again"

  9. I would name it "hope" because I can imagine seeing sailors looking out hoping to see their home port.

  10. I like how the photo is of a rough part of the ship. I appreciate how the ship looks worn and used.

I would name your photo "loved" because it makes me think of how much commitment the sailors have toward their ships.

  11. It's a very cool photo even though I need to turn my head around to see it!

  12. I really like the idea of imagining the different sailors looking out these windows and lost in their thoughts. Which specific elements were you capturing? How about a title in reference to these elements or the idea of lost in thoughts? How about Longing for the Journey Home? Keep up the great work!

  13. Kia ora,

I don't have a name to offer, but I am pretty sure I went on that ship when it was moored in Sydney Harbour! I was in Sydney for a weekend shopping trip (I live in NZ) and it was having an open day for tourists!

    Keep up the blogging

  14. Hello there Alba,
I am a student from the University of South Alabama in Dr. Strange's EDM 310 class.

I like Mr. Chamberlain's name of calling it Hope. It reminds me of when my dad went out sea when he was in the Navy. I can just imagine peering through those window and seeing home for the first time in a long time.

    Good photograph!

Keep up the good work with the blogging!

  15. Hi, Alba I am a student at the University of South Alabama in Mobile, AL in Dr. Strange's class and I think you could call it Close Calls because it reminds me of something a pilot would see if he or she was flying sideways to close to a ship. It is a very interesting picture with a lot of different possible ideas for a name. Have fun with your blog.

  16. Hey there!

I'm a student at the University of South Alabama. I'm in Dr. Strange's EDM 310 class.

Very cool picture. I like how you can see small details like the dust on the windows and little cracks.

I also like Hope as a name for it! You did a good job!
